It finally happened

Well it happened entered the corner a lil too hot and next thing i know my bikes sliding unfortunatly i was squiding in a t shirt and ended up with road rash along my forearm and a tiny bit on the right one with some bruises along my legs. I got a rather large hole from my indicator in my fairings and cracked them pretty bad and scratched along them and my clutch lever but she still runs and it was on the side that already had a hole after dropping it and putting my indicator through so im not that upset bout the damage haha. I did learn a valuble leason always always wear a jacket cause road rash absolutly burns

That sucks bro, glad your okay. I used to ride in a T-shirt regularly. I decided it wasn't worth the risk and bought a mesh jacket this spring. Now I feel naked without it.

I feel sorry for you and I'm glad your conclusion is to wear your gear.

But please, you need more punctuation. In those 170 words you typed only three points.

Sorry to read about the accident, Drdoonta

If you are not fond of repeating the experience, there is more than one lesson to learn from it.

Gear is your last line of defense, make a point in never putting yourself in a situation in which you must use it.

1) Enter each turn slowly, leave accelerating.
2) Calculate your entering speed carefully and based on your sight distance.
3) Use some brake to slowdown while straighten the bike up if you must.
4) If you can, look farther, lean more and trust your tires.
5) Turn late and quick, save lean angle for emergencies.

Yes. I've gone in t-shirt/shorts a couple times, because I was just going a couple miles down the road to get groceries/gas...BUT I would ride like a grandma and very cautiously.

Yea i completely agree its not exactly a sharp corner but i think i went in the inside line too much for my speed, im pretty sure it might have been my kickstand safety switch which made me grind.
after looking at it the whole bit of the switch is now ripped up onto the kickstand
