Thanks everyone, I already got the title transfer, tags, registration and just bought insurance. O, and it's a sunny 72F out today

. I got the bike with 5600 miles, he tinted all the lights (except the headlight), sprayed the can black, it has shogun frame sliders, he renewed the inspection for free and gave me a bike cover for $2600.

I'd suggest removing the "please rear end my ass" tint off the tail lamp. It's not legal in any state that I've yet to live in and if someone smacks you from behind at night and his lawyer finds out you have that tinted, you might just get a surprise! Ask me how I know

Yup, finally took the plunge. Damn glad I did too, I put about 45 miles on it so far, from grass to gravel and pavement to concrete

. I experienced my first motorcycle leg cramp going through some twisties earlier

. I pulled off onto a gravel road and attempted to stretch it while still on the bike...didn't work, lol. I road home hanging of the right side off the bike the whole time

So I guess this would be bad then huh...

Haven't experienced any problems so far (knock on wood) and I'm in the worst state for laws... you can't do anything in CA. I did add a brake modulator though and will swap out the stock for an led unit soon. I just like the clean look

The tint isn't nearly as dark as the pictures make it look. It was parked in the shade in the pictures and I didn't use a flash which is probably what made it look so dark.

I've found it sort of funny that I enjoy riding my ninja slower than I drive my suv. I normally just cruise around in 6th gear when going 35+mph and downshift when I need power. I love just cruising along. O, and on my first 5 mile ride I had at least 3 girls wave at me

and 3 situations which could have easily turned out horribly; a guy cut a Sharp corner 3/4 in my lane, another person on their cell phone drifting into my lane (oncoming) and someone not looking when they began to pull out of a driveway and decided to stop when they were already half way in my lane.

haha, Last night I slept like a baby actually. The night before last I slept maybe a total of 1-2 hours, I was so excited to go look at the bike. I couldn't put the bike down for more than 5 minutes yesterday

. I didn't put it away until it got dark out and I had to cook dinner. I'd be out riding right now but it's been raining all day

I just got back from my longest ride yet, I rode to work and experienced my first official biker wave from a guy on a bmw touring bike. Then I got on 29 north for a minute or 2 to get an idea of what to expect. After 29 north I filled up at my favorite gas station and went to see my girlfriend at petsmart in the same shopping center as the gas station. After a few minutes I realized there was a Harley gang at the grill/bar across the parking lot and decided I'd better leave soon since they were eyeing my bike

. Then I hit the twisties, I rode and rode and had no clue where I was going and it was a great feeling

. Then I headed home and here I am
