Gear decisions

My fiance is awesome. Not only did she lend me the money to get my '03 Ninja, but her Christmas present to me was up to $600 in gear. ... ... IKR?

I live in NW Washington and ride year round, often making 1.5h trips at night on the freeway in the monsoon-like NW rain. I have Firstgear HT Overpants, EXO-400, and Firstgear heated rider gloves. Ideally the new gear would be happy in the rain and down to 20F, but not cooking me alive in 80F.

Through research, searching the forums, and narrowing it down to gear carried at local gear shops;

Jacket:
Firstgear Jaunt T2
Firstgear Kilimanjaro

Boots:
Alpinestars Web Gore-Tex Boots
Alpinestars S-MX 5 Boot (Waterproof liner)
Cortech Latigo Waterproof RR Boot
Tour Master Solution 2.0 WP Boots

Recommendations, thoughts, or additions?

For water proofing I have an extra layer. Some impermeable over pants and jacket. They are relatively light so I can keep them in my backpack in case it rains. If it does I just pull over and throw them on.

It allows me to wear the same gear whether it's 90 degrees or 40 and raining
