Valve adjustment ?s

I searched a bit and ran into a bunch of different responses...

I bought my 2010 or 2011 I need to check... Ninja 250r a little over a month ago. First bike so when it comes to the service on a bike I'm rather lost as to what sounds normal, etc.

I bought the bike with 2k miles and it just clicked 3k the other day. I know the valves were supposed to be adjustment once it was broken in but I never knew about that so I didn't ask. Would it be a complete waste of money to have them checked? Or should I just wait a few more thousand miles?

Thanks

Oh.

I thought I saw somewhere that they should be checked or adjusted after the bike has been broken in?

600mi inspection is an oil change, and full fastener, cables and bulb check. its good to change the oil frequently.

Alright. Good to know I don't have to worry about it for awhile.

I changed the oil already.

The maintenance schedule is in a sticky thread right in this tech section. (can also download the owners manual from there as well).
