[motorcycle.com] - National Motorcycle Museum Auctioning off Back Barns Contents Nove

The founder of J&P Cycles, John Parham, died last April. In addition to J&P, Parham started up the National Motorcycle Museum, in Anamosa, Iowa. Now his family has decided it’s time to liquidate some of the stuff in the museum’s back barns, including*motorcycles, bicycles, parts, gas pumps, cars and other items that didn’t fit made it in the already full National Motorcycle Museum.

Here’s the full release from Liquid Asset Partners:

ANAMOSA, IA –*The lot list for the Parham Barn’s Auction posted online today, and it’s amazing! The family of John Parham, founder of J&P Cycles, has hired Liquid Asset Partners to hold an auction of Parham’s “barn finds” – personal property that’s never been shown in the National Motorcycle Museum. The Live and Online auction will be from John’s*“back barns” with motorcycles, bicycles, parts, gas pumps, cars and more barn finds that never made it into the already full National Motorcycle Museum.

John Parham created an amazing legacy with the creation of J&P Cycles and his direction of the National Motorcycle Museum. Liquid Asset has been hired to help empty the ‘back barns’ so the Parham family can focus their energy on running the Museum. Though none of the sale items are Museum property, Jill Parham will be donating 20% of the net proceeds of the sale to the National Motorcycle Museum.

“This is shaping up to be an amazing sale with very rare items,” said Bill Melvin, owner of Liquid Asset Partners. “John was well know as the ‘smartest collector’ of motorcycle memorabilia in the USA, and his barn finds show the depth and value he always found in his picking.”

The live auction will take place on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Anamosa, Iowa. The lot list is currently online at*Proxibid.com.

Liquid Asset Partners will be welcoming other consignments of quality motorcycles, cars, or memorabilia. Please call*616-719-5917*for consignment information.

Online bidding will be available through*www.proxibid.com.
