What is this electrical connector called?

I bought a voltmeter/usb charger for my handlebar, but it came with this on the end of the wires. I may just cut it off and splice the wires into my battery tender harness, but if I knew what it is was called I can look for an SAE adapter.

Looks like the 2 pin 2.8mm - .110 locking connector here: http://www.cycleterminal.com/110-connectors.html

I've always called them a Molex connector.

The connectors are Sumitomo MTW-series connectors aka Hitachi-type connectors.

I suggest directly wiring it to an accessory circuit. It'll always be there and working without having to plug/unplug things, and there will be fewer connections involved that could result in voltage drop. Using an accessory circuit means the power will be completely cut off when the bike is off - those USB chargers use regulator circuits that are always drawing a little bit of power (it's not a big deal until the bike unexpectedly sits for a lot longer than you planned).
