Congratulations the Ninja 650R is a very under rated bike in my opinion comfortable not too heavy a good all round bike. My son has a 2006, 650R, when he finished Uni I packed all his things in the car and he followed on the bike 460 miles on the highway at 85 mph and 40 miles over the Jura mountains, with only three stops for fuel. Not only that he could still walk when he got off it.

I'll get pics up as soon as the weather clears up a bit here.
Yes, it is the Black/Grey with red frame. The 650 is definately heavier than the 250 (but what isn't) and the weight is much higher so much more noticable. Cruizing down the highway at 80 [indicated] at 6000 rpm is very nice with plenty of power to just roll on to pass. I like it. Mods that I'm contemplating are a ZG double bubble windshield and sport bars. |
