most likely. But its possible, Ive just never heard of that. We just started buying from Sherwin Williams so maybe they do since they sell paint as well. Before I bought from Cardinal, Prismatic, and Tiger Drylac.

+1

I have a strong suspicion it's a lot harder to ride off a curb on a big sports bike than a mtb though.

You probably should've gone with gold, a dark-tinted double-bubble windscreen, and these:

O, Kevin I'm gone for just a little while and you crash again..... You had it all wrong, you were supposed to wheelie off the sidewalk, ramp the speed bump, then hit the back wheel off the tree, land on the suv and proceed to drive down the hood and onto the pavement like a bad ass. You always do things the hard way.

Alright guy! Big update, my baby is done The fairings came in really good shape, only one small defect but not bad for something made in Hong Kong. The paint its self is pretty nice, a couple more coats would have made everything a little more scratch resistant but again, they were really cheap, but I think more cost effective then buying all OEM.

Here she was after the first few fairings:

Installing LED's as I go

I probably spent a solid 6 hours of just soldering, I counted over 200 solder points that had to be done. I ended up using roughly 28 feet of LED's, thats about 510 LED's total :2fingerlol:

Before the last few bits went on:

All done!

I love the way she looks and am so happy with the way everything went together and turned out! I am setting up a powder coater and a anodizer in my garage pretty soon, in hopes to get rid of all the gold on the bike. And speaking of garage... its new!! I just finished moving into a new place. There is so much room for activities now! Expect some very cool, custom mods and projects from me very soon

Gizmo has already taken a liking to it :devious

She likes the driveway too:

Here she is with the LED's. I will take better pictures soon, now that I have a garage to control light in

She came out nicely. Did you get the fairings cleared to try and control some of the scratching?

Thanks Chris. No, if I ever needed to I would strip all the paint and do it all myself with more attention to detail. It doesnt necessarily scratch easy, I just noticed on one of my fairings corners got scratched when I placed it down on the ground. You have to be pretty picky to find where I did it though its one of those stupid things we let fester in our own minds, even though someone else could probably never find it

All my pics are with my Galaxy S3. Some of the pictures arnt even photoshopped but most of them are. 99% of them are shot with "HDR Pro," its the only HDR camera app that actually works, and there are a ton a tweaks to make it just right.

A lot of studying and good help really makes learning bikes easy. After taking my engine apart I feel like I know my baby like the back of my hand

I still miss my 250
