Disk Brakes

I just found some rust on my disk brakes, i was thinking of cleaning them off with some wet aluminum or some steel wool?

just take the bike around the block and use the brakes. Rust gone!

+1 It's just surface rust, and may likely be the dust on the surface that is rusting, not the disc itself.
