SoCal Tech Day (plus GMR)

The fellas and I hung out at Adrian's house. Thanks, Adrian, for the hospitality.
I've got plenty of pics to share and upload, so be patient, please.

BTW, on the ride back home, I almost got hit by a cager in a huge SUV. Bitch caused me to hit my left foot on the road. A part of my shoe got scuffed!

Also, thanks to Max for a new left turn signal. That was awesome of you, bro. I appreciate it.

Pics to come. If they're not up by tonight, they will be by tomorrow morning.

Home safe!
Love you guys. Had fun.
No crashes today Best part!

We are learning how to get the group together as one and talk first before going up the hill now.
Seems to be working. Lets keep the new tradition.

Thanks Umar, I wasn't able to get any pics or video today. Non stop!

It was an absolute blast hanging out with and finally meeting a handful of the So Cal Ninjettes. Seriously I can't wait to do it again. You're all very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about riding today (and fast!)

Thanks to Adrian for the hospitality, it's greatly appreciated and you're an awesome guy.
Thanks to Dustin for showing me how to actually work on a bike and not be an idiot
Thanks to Kevin for all the work you helped me do, I can't thank you enough man. Speaking of that... Thanks for the bolt!
KC You're an awesome dude and you better protect the hell out of that Jixxer... Your pointers on where to put my head saved my ass on a couple turns on the way down.

I can't wait to go riding with you guys again, and just remember Umar - it's not always unacceptable to punch out a mirror...

You should've stuck around, Gurk. You missed out on quite a ride, though it was cut short due to the sun setting.

Cool, though.
Also, congrats on graduating and getting a new job.

Good to meet the new guys over Five Guys burgers and fries!

Lots of debris on GMR from the recent rains!
Get ready for winter I told you guys we have to do ACH again soon before season close!

Still couldn't get Adrian's gauge working when it works for me and Honey Badger! WTF! I'm starting to get annoyed and so is Adrian but I refuse to give up! When my mind is hell bent on something you guys have seen what I can do. I won't take Adrian's no for an answer. As always, love riding w/ you.. Cool "Ad"e!

Dustin you need a new CDI! The heat found you an issue today.
On the plus side you's a lucky dawg cause you live near the beach.

Max, you got it bro.
That thing is on rails.
Time to change the oil on it
So nice on the freeway!
What the hell was up with your lower fairing retainers?
did you tweek a fairing mount?

Honey Badger snake charmer,
Your exhaust is louder than MGP.. sorry bud. You scare the neighbors haha.
Personally I like Gurk's MGP Small and LOUD.
Good to see you today. Who's got footage?
I have no mount on my baby yet.

Kevin Phreakazoid you need valves done dude.
I don't know what your bike sounds like new but I don't know if it was sounding good now or not. but damn that son of a biatch is upgraded!
Bring it over and I'll learn how to do I4 valve jobs on your bike. lolols.
How hard could it be. Just have to be sure timing is right and it will take us a bit to order proper shims.

Gurkdawg we didn't get a chance to talk much but next time for sure.
I saw you in the middle of the red/black bike orgy and I had my hands full of a birdsnest of wires too. We'll chat and I'll eyeball your bike more later.
I dig that exhaust! haha

Umar, good riding with you. don't push it, take it slow and learn the right way.
Get some of those wrist twisty books from that Keith Code guy and get a better idea of how to ride. I don't really know what the hell I'm doing but I can point you in the right direction from what I have figured out is true of all the BS on this forum. I'm not the end all teacher and don't really know how to ride at all. You can find someone else to give you much better tips to help you learn 20x faster. Try youtube for example.

You can never have enough information on how to properly ride your bike.
Sorry you almost found another vehicle on the way home in your path.
How is it your foot keeps touching the ground mang?

Yeah I'm not so hot on this sunset riding thing you guys always do.
Dusk is the prime hour for motorcycle accidents. Least visibility in the day as your eyes adjust to the dark Lots of shadows abound too.

On the way out I rode with emergency flasher on so everyone made damn sure loud and clear they could see me coming lol. GSXR highbeam is intense!

Lost a few tools today somehow dammit lol prolly donated to Adrian's garage.

I'mma have to go buy me some Husk-eh tools lol I can't afford snapon.
Black tools are neato.
I need that new drill too, it's killing me.

GOOD 8mm sockets, GOOD 1/4" drives and extensions and GOOD 8 and 10mm open ended wrenches are in high demand 'round here lol.

Crappy tools won't cut it anymore.

MMMMMMMmmm I'm hungry. Motorcycle make me want to eat all day and night. I already had Five Guys burger and fries when I got home in my backpack, now on to some burritos.

PS I'm going to order a giant bag of hardware and charge you guys $5 per fairing bolt.

A month out seems to be a good gap.
Gives everyone time to plan

Who's house this time?

I say the guys who don't do work have to BBQ lol instead of standing around talking sh*t.
That way we don't have to moto hella far to Five Guys and kill our ride time.

Well I just hope you can cook! hahah

Seriously we should turn the Tech Days into a BBQ Tech Day. Then cutoff time is at 3:30 for the ride. 9am is good starting time. I just couldn't get my act together yesterday. That was the first time in my life I was ever late.

You would make at least $100 every tech day with something like that. Maybe more if HB has anything to say about it.

That's probably the best looking video you've ever made!

More lean and less backpack next time!

Nice videos, HB. Ask Adrian to post the video he made riding behind me! I want to see how ugly my riding form is.
He told me afterward that I need to lean off the bike, which I started doing when we all parted ways. Maybe not too well, but it's a start. I wish he had been recording me afterward.
