Ordering parts by part number

Does anyone ever have issue with pictures not matching part numbers when looking for parts online. I'm looking for some new brake pads and when I search for the part number FA197HH a lot of what comes up does not look like the correct parts.

For example this is what is on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/EBC-Brakes-FA1...productDetails

but i know they should look like this (what I got from a local supplier previously):

Is it possible that they are just using the wrong/same image, and the part number should yield the correct part. Anyone have any experience with sources like this? This exact source maybe?

My hunch is that the image is wrong. If they are sending you FA197HH pads, it's almost certainly the correct part, unless the package itself is mislabeled.

A lot of retailers just use the same generic picture for products that are the same type and only differ for models, ie. brake pads, windscreens, etc.

^^^

Using stock photos for multiple parts has been in retail practice for a long time, websites, catalogs, ect.. ect... Most of the time they are placeholders until a real product image can be obtained and input into their systems.
