Ducati Factory workers in Bologna, Italy arrived to a bit of a surprise this past Monday. It certainly wasn’t business as usual. Instead of punching in and planting their feet at their designated stations they were instead treated to a private showing of the 2015 Ducati Scrambler.



While putting a bike into a crate to shield the bike from public view is acceptable, Ducati took it a step further for their beloved workers and set the stage providing a real beach like environment to put the “riders” in the right frame of mind when viewing the prototype.



Speculations of the Scrambler have been buzzing about the industry for some time now and with Ducati making such a private showing so public it’s certainly grabbed our attention. A video was also created by Ducati to subliminally infest your brain with desires of beach cruising, dirt romping and hot chick passengers ready to throw their scarfs to the wind.



From what we gather the “simple motor” will possibly over sub 600 cc and a more aggressive, almost dirt bike like upright riding position. What we can gather from the silhouette pulled from the 1/2 second video flash is an almost dirt bike*inspired tank, compact wheelbase and very low ride height. Not to mention a front fender fairing for good measure.

All we can do is wait and see what the Ducati Scrambler is and has in store for us.
