GSXR Exhaust on the 250

on my 08 ninja 250 i have the gsxr exhaust mod on it and it sounds good and deep. im thinking about doing a jet kit very soon and was wondering if anyone has the same setup with a jet kit? i have a slight flat spot during middle rpms....and im thinking the jet kit would cure all lol

I had this same exhaust on my 08 250 I believe my jetting went as follow 98 jet and clip at the 3rd ring and 3 turns out the stock jets are 98 as well but the dynojet jets are a little bigger. I played around with a 100 jet but it just dident work out for me you could do a search and find a lot of good info

Have you tried shimming the carb needles already? I plan on doing the same exhaust soon, I'm curious to this as well... I'm also curious if just shimming the needles does a good job by itself.

Mike, anyone with this can...

What is the inside diameter?

I found a place to pick up universal baffle and fiberglass wrap but I need to know what the inside diameter is of the GSXR can so I can buy the right size...

I'm cross posting in the GSXR can threads.... don't kill me.

When you do find out be sure to share . Not sure if all your officer buddies will approve of your loud exhaust? I haven't installed yet...but I can only imagine.. I have the stock can off with an open pipe and just starting it up to warm it up (making sure im not loosing oil) prompted a neighbor to come out and yell. Similar noise levels?

Lol...

I visited the shop the other day and the shop tech fired it up with just the Area-P header, no can.

Sounds like a harley.

Anyone have a clue about what jet to run the GSXR exhaust with?
I'm concerned with my dynojet since it doesn't have big enough jets for me as I'm gonna attempt this mod and get air pods.

08's were split; some got Bridgestone BT-45's, others got Dunlop GT-501's. People generally like both of 'em. 09's got IRC Roadwinners. People generally don't like them as much. YMMV.
