FS: 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 250 (Chicago) SOLD
******S*******
******O******* ******L******* ******D******* Synopsis Bike: 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 250 (EX250) Mileage: 6100+ miles Title: Clear and in hand The Good: Runs amazing, hasn't left me stranded, starts up with ease The Bad: Minor scratches, tank not original but replaced with a working one Read on for much more details. Hey guys, I have a 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 250 for sale. I bought this bike at a little under 2000 miles and it currently has just over 6000 miles. It has been very well maintained and cared for. Recent major maintenance includes new tires (Kenda K671) 3000 mile ago, oil change (Shell Rotella T Synthetic 5W-30) 1000 miles ago and a valve adjustment and carb sync 400 miles ago. Please let me know if you want to see my Excel spreadsheet of the full service history. Mods include: 15T JT front sprocket and Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen. I have the original parts it replaced and random other parts like oil screen cover gasket and oil filters. I also replaced most of the phillips head screws with allen head screws. The bike is running great, especially after the recent valve adjustment and carb sync. I've done 300 mile days on this bike and 200 mile rides with my girlfriend on the back. It puts a smile on my face how capable this bike is! <---- like this I can't believe I'm putting this ad up, but I found a bike I want to put money towards. I absolutely LOVE this bike and would not hate myself for not selling it. It always get 65mpg no matter how hard I ride. It hasn't stranded me yet and has exceeded my expectations. The only bad thing about the bike is that the PO dropped the bike. This caused some scratches on the left muffler, front fairing and clutch handle, but the damage is very minimal. He also punctured a hole in the old tank by screwing in too long of a screw in one of the bolt hole, but I replaced the tank when I first got the bike with a 2007 gas tank. The color is a teeeeny bit different in color, but you won't notice during the day. Here are some pictures for you guys. All pictures from this year: Looking for $2000 or an SV650. Pick up only, please! I'm in the Chicago suburbs. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions! Last futzed with by bobaab; May 3rd, 2010 at 09:04 AM. |
