Is The Generator Cover The Same For Pre Gens as New Gens?
My current one has a crack that's leaking. Looking online they have different part numbers, but some online being sold are saying the part is for 88-12 years new and old gen and at first glance the two look the same when browsing online
Also considering JB Weld. Pretty sure I over torqued the sproket cover and caused a crack with grew over time

I ended up packing the crack with silicone earlier today for a short term fix, rode 50mi so far and send to be holding so far

Hey good job!
  If you pack sealant from both outside and inside to they touch in middle of crack, it makes for very permanent seal! |
