2011 Kawasaki 300 ninja in gokart

Hi all I'm in a bit of a pickle. I've got a 2011 Kawasaki 300 ninja engine in a gokart I'm building. My mate pulled apart the wire harness and striped it down to a bare bone wire harness set-up. I'm not the smartest tool in the shed when it comes to wireing and I've followed a few things on line to wire it up and I'm fairly sure it's wired Up mostly right. It wind's over but no spark. Can anyone please help me with a bare bone coloured wire diagram that a kindergarten kid could follow. I'm not using any safety switching stuff or stuff like that. I've lost the ignition key switch too and am using aftermarket starter switch. But it just won't spark. Please please help before I rip my hair out. Here's what I copied for wire diagram and a pic of kart.
Regards Matty

I know that older 250's had a resistor in the stock ignition. The symptoms sound a little different than what you're experiencing, but it's worth a look to check it off the list for your own sanity?

A 300 would be fuel injected, yet best I can tell, your pic appears carbed. The 300 was not even released here in US in 2011.

You sure you've posted accurate model/year info?

Hi and welcome!

The 300 ECU needs tonnes of sensors to operate: TPS, MAP, O2, crank-sensor, tilt/fallover, kickstand, neutral, clutch, etc. Along with bunch of outputs: petrol-pump, injectors, sub-throttle bodies, coil-packs. It won’t even try squirting fuel or fire plugs unless every sensor & output is plugged in.

I'm not sure I was told it was a 300 ninja? I'm not a bike person but I took a pic of compliance plate. EX250J so it's probably a 250 and im in Australia.

Looking at the pic it does look like it has a carb attached to it. So it must be carbureted.

1. With plug pulled, inserted into plug-wire and case grounded, are plugs firing when cranking?

2. Are you getting power at ignition coil when switch ON?

3. Are you getting grounding pulses on black & green coil wires when cranking?

4. Are you getting crank-trigger pulses at ignitor when cranking?

what about nanny switches like the sidestand switch? I believe the ignition will not work if these are not wired correctly

They've removed all interlocks and have replaced starter-solenoid and relay with switch. I hope it's rated for enough current!

Issue I see is their circuit uses combination of pre-gen and new-gen schematics. Will have to verify new-gen ignitor and regulator is actually wired as shown in their diagram.
