** Shipping Rates Calculation -- FEDEX **
Just so you know, there has been a glitch in the Fedex "Create Shipment" option online. It lets you "Calculate" your estimated shipping rates based on Weight and/or Dimensions ... Well, it is not true calculation.
Fedex estimates their shipping based on dimensional weight. Weight supercedes the dimension if the calculated weight is less. (hence the 2 options, but you will need to adhere to the formula) Fedex Formula : LxWxH / 1.66 Domestic US = 1.66 Ground - Commercial and Residential Canada/Mexico = 1.39 Ground Example : 41x20x20=16,400/1.66=9879.5 rounded up to 99lb ... Enter 99lb in the Weight field and then do calculate. [dont calculate based on your weight] Residential Fee add-on = 3.35$ :: Ignore if you already know this..
