It looks like the trick is to put your feet on the rear pegs, stand up & pull up.

How about don't and you may live longer...

also think about it.. would you want to buy a bike that was 'stunted' on in any way?

"It looked cool to do.." those are usually famous last words..

take your plastics off and wear all your gear while you learn. You will drop it... and drop it... and drop it.

personally, I think wheelies on a street bike is a waste of a good bike. if you want to learn to do these, get a dirt bike.

Stunting is a personal preference, some people like it, some people don't. I don't advise doing it in the street; the responsible stunters I know reserve it for clear parking lots, private lots, and events. You'll find more about it on other forums.

well, let's clarify.. I just want to learn to do these things for occasional fun. no way do I want to be a stunt rider. Bikes are made for the twisties and track in my opinion, but it would be cool to be able to pull out the stunt card here and there. and of course, I always wear my gear. FULL gear. LEATHER gear and street riding boots, even when I was practicing wheelies.

Kkim, I have actually been wanting to go dirt biking, I'm sure it will give me some good experience on how to get the bike up in the air.. ehh no $ for a dirt bike tho, nor trailer, nor pick up truck tho so I can go whenever I want

I'll look where I can either rent or borrow someone's

You can keep an eye out for stunt bikes- a lot of times you can find a nice bike for cheap because it's a rebuild/has no title, so it can't be ridden on the street.

Get a cheap, old 1000cc bike, change the sprockets, then you can just roll on the gas, (maybe need to) jerk the bars up, and you are in a wheelie. Much easier than with an EX250 which is probably one of the worst "stunt" bikes to learn on. You'd be better off with an old, beat up, 125cc 2-stroke to be honest.
