SO CAL Long Beach Motorcycle Show THIS WEEKEND 11/15

Is there anybody going to the motorcycle show? Sometimes I meet up WAY EARLY with other members for breakfast pre-show then get in line to sign up for DEMO RIDES. Other than demo rides there's the whole motorcycle convention where every manufacturer shows off their new models, you can win free track days, there is a TON of discounted beautiful gear. Love this time of year. Oh, and motorcycle parking is free!!

This year demos are for Yamaha, Honda, Victory, Harley Davidson, and Can Am. Sign ups are free and you can ride any bike that you choose!

My plan is to meet for breakfast way too early, 6am. Eat until 7 then go get in line to sign up. Sign ups begin at 8am and rides begin at 9am.

Breakfast would be here - http://www.thelongbeachcafe.com/ it's about a 1-2 minute ride from the convention center.

Would any So. Cal ninjette or other riders be interested in doing this this Saturday? Not sure if it's worth setting up yet.

This looks awesome but I'm already scheduled at work for the entire weekend. I was JUST thinking about wanting do a mini trip to LA to check out some local roads (Palomar loop looks fun) as well as sign up for some kind of demo ride.

The fates are cruel.

@Trailerboy531 - Cool, I am driving with my other buddy so we'll see what happens. Where are you planning on starting your demos? I think I'll start at Yamaha since I am most interested in their latest offerings

If Honda has sport bikes I will start there - if not I will go to Yamaha but I've already tested all of their current lineup sooo....

The last time Honda did demos at a dealership in Orange Country they did cruisers only because the sportibkes had insurance liability written all over them, apparently. Hoping that's not the case this time.

One of the sweepers said I was the most out of control riders he'd ever seen on a group ride and I could not ride with them any further. I was so. ****ing. bored. I didn't do anything crazy.... Soooo......... no idea.

I think Yamaha has a new group of dudes doing the demos now, they're fun

i still can't believe they kicked you and jeff out, but thanked me and kevin for coming along... we were practicing wheelies on the fz09 and the other one kevin had. afterward the guy in front came by and shook both our hands then went over and told you two to gtfo... i was like... wat?

The show was fun! Definitely more packed than last year. Lots of new models to check out - certainly worth the price of entry.

As far as members from here showing up? Didn't happen... but a man can dream?

I was demoing the FZ-07 and FZ-09 and they brought out a van...a couple of guys in the front were trying to wheelie and we had to stop a few times. The weather was nicer this year than last
