Removing Yoshimura slip-on and installing stock exhaust
I have a 2009 Ninja 250 with a Yoshimura slip-on that the previous owner installed. I'm sick of the sound so I'm going to be putting the stock muffler back on.
How difficult is it to do and do I have to remove the fairing? I'm not the most mechanical person out there but I've done basic maintenance like changing the oil, spark plugs, and air filter. Thanks. |

Should be a couple of bolts and you shouldn't need to remove the fairings.
You planning to sell it? Yoshimura's are pretty popular around these parts of the interweb. BTW, your jacket should arrive tomorrow. |

Someone on Reddit is possibly interesting in buying it. I'm trying to figure out how much to sell it for. A brand new one costs $282.11 on Amazon.

Its pretty easy, just unbolt and remove, slip on stock and bolt on

If the price is right, I'd be interested in buying it.

It's the Yoshimura TRC Polished Stainless Steel Tri-Oval Slip On.
I took it off the bike and one thing I noticed is that there's heat damage where it connects to the header? Is that normal? |

Problem? probably not. Takes away form the "bling" factor? Yes. (but for a Dad looking for a good deal for his son's racebike that he know's is going to get thrown down the track at some point; not a problem)
