To celebrate the new Willie G. Davidson exhibit at the Harley-Davidson museum, on Thursday, June 11 the museum will have a bike night starting at 6pm. The night will also feature comments by Willie G. and Harley-Davidson executives.*The following day, Friday, June 12, from 9am-5pm, previews of the exhibit will be available to museum members.

The Harley-Davidson Museum’s summer exhibit honors the life, career and legacy of motorcycle icon Willie G. Davidson. Willie G. Davidson: Artist, Designer, Leader, Legend, celebrates the artistry, influence and impact of the Milwaukee man whose designs have defined American motorcycles for generations.

Exhibit visuals include previously unseen historical artifacts and items from Willie’s personal collection that provide insight into his unique perspective, personal style, creative process, inspiration and influences. In addition, one-of-a-kind vehicles, original designs, art and rare artifacts paint an engaging portrait of this iconic Milwaukee figure, his influential career, legacy and current work.

Willie G. served as the company’s design director for nearly 50 years, where he helped shape the look, sound and feel that define Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

The exhibit opens June 13 and runs through Sept. 7.
