RIP

ISIL threatened to attack the people of France if the French government continued and/or furthered their involvement in the middle east.

A French news paper did a poll and found that 64% of the respondents were against any French involvement in Syria.

The French "democratic" government ignored this and have been heavily involved in the attacks on Syria.

Meanwhile the French government imposes heavy restrictions on weapons that would allow French people to defend themselves from attack.

Yesterday, a group of heavily armed, violent, Islamic people claiming to be from Syria attack and kill over 150 people in Paris.

I'm really not looking forward to how the UK, French and EU governments response to this.

This often feels like a very mad world that we live in.

@akima (and all others overseas) stay safe and in touch, I can only imagine the stress and tension you are all feeling.
