Guess that bike!

Hey guys, thought I'd start a new game here. I see at least 10 different bikes a day so if it's parked, I'll whip out my camera phone and take a pic. Let's see how knowledgeable people are with different bikes and models. Bonus points if you know what generation/year the bikes are

I'll start off with a few here. Hopefully others can post pics of bikes they come across as well.

This one is not a motorcycle, but I'll give you a cookie if you figure out the model

Hmm, I think I'll block out the makers on my next batch of pics
2. Not a F4, but correct model.
4. There's also 4 other bikes next to the ninjette if anyone can guess them.

...time to upload more pics. Nice job Vince

Maybe I should post pics of scooters and dirtbikes...you guys know your bikes.
So far correct:
Post 1
1. Ninja 636
2. 1998 cbr f3
3. Ducati monster 675
4. Zx9, HD fatboy, 250r, sportster, not a zx6r
5. I only know the maker, no clue the model.

6. SV650
8. Honda crf is correct, but 450L
10. 650r

POST 3

Dirtbike in background.
11.

I'll post more pics when I get home to my computer. No one else here takes pics of bikes though? I wanna see some heavily modded ones (usually at bike nights) where it'll be impossible to tell.

Ooo i like this game....but ya these pics should be numbered haha.

Anyway starting from the top:

1. 07-08 zx6r (not a 636 motor)

2. CBR900

3. Monster...but i'm not sure if its an s2r or s4r or how big

4. zx7r, new gen 250, and a suzuki cruiser...I forget what they call that thing

5. Not sure but it's a ford hahaha....t-model probably...i think someone who posted above me got it.

6. Ninja 650 would be my guess

7, 8 & 9. Not good with cruisers or dirtbikes

10. SV650

OK here are 3 offbeat pics.
1 - I didnt know this bike company made cars (trikes?).
2 - Looks older than it is until you notice forks and instruments.
3 - Easy - never saw an uglier swingarm.

^^ Guzzi for sure. Saw it in person at Italian bike show.

Not an XR500 but could be easy mistake. bike is an odd combo of new things like USD forks, and older type muffler.

It's not necessarily a guzzi. There is a brand called "Tri-King", made in Britain, that uses Guzzi engines, to power a 3 wheeler of their own making. The engine is still badged Guzzi, but the car is badged a tri-king.

more here and here.

Friend of mine owns one. Neat machines...

The silver bike #2 is a Borile. Never heard of it until the bike show. Spooph XR500 was good guess as it is a 500 single. Supposedly a street version of a speedway motor, with added gearing and lubrication.

rock on, cool! Yes, that be a guzzi... Funny, cause of one of these:

I wonder which one came first?

edit: turns out the Brits, and that only later did they start to use Guzzi engines... Cool!

Yeah Brits using a funky Italian V twin. Makes me wonder if the CX500/650 could be a Japanese version. Maybe the 650 Turbo.

I think the 650 turbo would be sick! Although, not quite sure if it will enough torque to lug an boat around.... How 'bout a metric cruiser? Like a Vulcan 1500 or something...

I hope the cops don't arrest me for "recording" them.

You don't know the Katana very well. That is NOT a Katana. The Katana was a 600 and a 750, not a 650, during the late 80's till final production. They also changed the body style of them in 98 to the "alien" headlights that so many people don't like (I like it though). That body style was from 99-06 when it was finally discontinued.

I would post pics of the two body styles during the years you stated but it would take away from the topic of the thread.

So carry on with the game.
