Yes it has been quite a long time. Albany decided I could not drive anything!

This is one of the hardest things I had to do. Put away the 95 Yukon GT (with mickey's and a lift) and the ninjette.

But I'll be back in a month or so! I put 8500 in that one season and had to put it away! SOB!

As per Snafu: Every Tuesday night is cruise night in Oyster Bay. Get there early enough and you can check out Billy Joel's museum and the cruise night afterwards.

That would be cool but I don't Think I can ever really make it there. I live in Oceanside, and I work in the city. I don't get home until 7 usually. I wish they still did the Bike nights at the local Nathan's that would be so easy for me

Remember those days! I use to also take my 72 mustang to nathans car show and the bellmore car show.

I guess we can keep on checking these forums...meantime I still like to ride solo most of the time...

the car shows they still have on wed. Bellmore too but they charge money now. I ride solo most of the time too but I also have a couple of friends I ride around with as well (GSXR1000, GS500F,GSXR600, and an R6).

Nice! Again I have been out of the loop. I'll be taking my permit and road test August 15th. And it just can not come any quicker! Feeling quite impatient and jealous as I see all these bikes and cars on the road. It's been long over due for me.

I have to say the 1/4 R is so popular still and in demand! I have seen so many in the past years!

oh it definitely is. when I picked up mine last year there were only 4 or 5 left at the dealer and they were sold out of all the 2010 models. also 2-3 of the bikes they had were used.

I believe those are the SE models. they charge an extra $500 or so for them. I do like the white gauges on the 2011 models.

I like the white faced gauges as well but I find the needles harder to read at a quick glance.

At the end of the month 31st, I'm going to take a cruise up to Kent CT with some cruiser buddies. Easy slow ride. Anybody wanting to cruise is more than welcome. 9am meetup in Bayside and roll north.

In Aug, who wants to get together for a welcome back chinasmurf ride? Cruise around, grab a bite and ride some more or head home.

hey I was crusin around tonite and ment to post up on here that i was gona be out but i rather swap phone #'s for local rides. im always looking for riding buddies, im still a noob tho so cut me some slack.. barely got one riding season under my belt =/

Where do you live? And don't worry about it, riding with more experienced riders is how you get better! If people aren't cutting you slack, you found the wrong type of riding buddy haha. If your local I'd love to ride some time!
