I hope you are not serious.

That's closer to being ready for a major skin graft. I wouldn't ride around the block like that. No kidding.

I thought the dudes on this forum were the kind that ran and tipped their fedoras to every girl ever on the internet no matter what they're doing. I guess I was wrong. Weird.

Wear whatever level of gear you want, just know the risks. fwiw, I wear mine.

that backpack is legit
@MrAtom nah, atgatt mentality outweighs all here

wear, or don't wear, whatever you want. It's your skin in the end. As an expert in the subject of crashing all I can say is that crashes hurt enough with gear.

you just reminded me that there's video of me doing a wheelie (on a bicycle ) in my boxers during hurricane sandy somewhere (there was definitely alcohol and a lost bet involved)

You are looking quiet great.

But there is one thing you are missing and that's the safety. I know in summers; when temperature is high it's quiet impossible to wear such equipment but accompany your ride with back, elbow and knee protector provide you better chance against the serious injuries.

Looks like she was ready to ride to me. She has boots and gloves on...

Hopefully not.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but that's no way to ride. Most people that ride without full gear have never experienced a hard/fast crash. If you have, you don't need to be told.

This; I got a raft of **** from r/moto for the silly picture. My mother laughed as I came out in just my moto boots to move my bike up the drive way so my father (lincoln behind me) could park. So I decided to complete the ensemble, and also danced in the front yard as every car passed by.

/hint - sometimes, before I comment... I click the the posters name and review some of their post history. For example; Our op Z, member since Oct, 2014 w/ 50+ posts. So I went hunting. Low and behold.... she does wear gear after all. (as posted previously in other threads)

HUGE TMNT fan, Leonardo was my favorite growing up. But as I became a cognizant human being..Raph hands down. I'm a woman-child that I bring this back pack to work...and have someone as my snack portion holder.

eta: I bought the backpack from Hot Topic! They have that and the Bowser backpacks!

I won't condone those who wear gear or don't. It is their right to choose. Making sure I know better sound preachy. Firm believer in riding your own ride. But what I thought would make people smile, with an asinine photo turned into being lectured like I am a child to wear gear. If I want to go around town in my jackets jeans, I will

I don't think anybody told you that you HAD to wear anything. Looking out for new riders by informing them of wearing gear and the consequences is not being preachy.

Since it seems you still live with your parents I'm sure they could tell you what to wear under their roof.

Whatever.

We deal with a lot of new riders here that, honestly, have no idea what happens when you fall off a motorcycle. Some of us here have experience in such things, and try to convince people it's not even an option to ride in minimal gear.

Some will take that as mentoring. Other will take offence.

You go girl...

Negatory on living with my parents, was over there doing work for my father's company. Also not a new rider.

I've gone down, had a disagreement with my 250 and she decided to flop on her side. We broke up. I welcome conversations, arguments and suggestions to riding and the like. But the beginning tone of this thread is an image and OHMAHGAWD SHE NO WEARIN GEAR.

Live and press on eh?
