Leather sliders
Anyone use, or have used leather knee sliders? I like the a&g smiley face and skull/crossbones sliders but I can't help think that they might be grippy on the asphalt, as compared to plastic.

The skull slider looks cool but I think if I got even close to needing one of these in a turn, the resulting skid mark in the leathers would offset the cool factor of the sliders.

Leather is quiet and has more "feel" IMHO.
They last a while too, depending on the track of course. A&G makes good ones, and might be the only ones still making leather sliders these days. Well worth the $$$. |
