Wow 250 HP now that is more than some cars have. Just think of the power to weight ratio.

I call bull until I see a dyno sheet. 100hp maybe (60's at 8 psi has been done for sure) totally built 150-200 maybe at 18 PSI. I need to see a list of thing done not just see a picture and a hear say qoute to believe 250whp is being cranked out of a 250 or whatever it is.

Interesting. Would love to see that dyno sheet. I know it must be around unless it is bs. You don't spend that much on a bike and don't dyno it.

I could very well be wrong, but I thought 87 was the first year, changed the body style in 89, and then again for 08

looked on wikipedia and found this from '83- but they say it was a 250 in name only - it was belt driven

wow...
cool look'n machine i remember when turbo cycles were making their mark in the 80s. i know kawasaki had one...and yamaha had the seca turbo...can't remember the honda model but i believe they had one too. if i recall correctly these bikes had issues pertaining to when the turbo's actually kicked in...heck, brain cells are gone...cant remember.

Ummm, Scott, you posted the turbo 750 in both posts just so you know. You can clearly see the "750turbo" on the side of the bike in the first post.
It is in fact a GPZ-900 with modified fairings, exhaust and of course the turbo. Here's a pic of the GPZ-900 stock: And here's a link to the data sheet for the stock GPZ-900. |
