Emgo mirrors
I know that Ninja 650 mirrors are used as a wider option for the Ninja 250. If one wants a less...angular... option, I wondered if anyone had used these: Emgo mirrors. They're shown as fitting the 2006-08 N650. I dunno if that's transplantable to the 2009-12 250 or not. All info appreciated!

As long as you don't get these http://www.ebay.com/itm/121127006611...84.m1497.l2649
Pieces of **** don't even stay in the position you pet them in and a terrible fit. Had to take a grinder to them. Unbelievable that these are made in Cali I assume thats where they ship from and they are just terrible. |

Nah, we're happy with the OE signals, just not the OE mirrors.

If those Emgo mirrors are like the ones I got, then the actual mounting plate does not fit, but the stem does fit.
So when you receive the mirrors, you unscrew them from the part that attaches to the front cowling, unscrew your mirrors and just slide the stem into the place of the OEMs, and reinsert the bolt. Fairly easy swap out.

They're not like either of those. They're like these:
They're available from Bike Bandit, Motorcycle Superstore, and probably lots of other places, but not Cycle Gear, so we don't have a local option. There's no way to know the thickness of the mount end of the stem; I know the base won't fit. What I'd like to find out is whether anyone has mounted these, and can confirm the fit and the resulting angle on the bike. Thanks! |
