Frame swap?
Ok I picked up a 2010 ninja 250r back in September and I got it for $300. I was wrecked so I got new forks for $150. Then turns out the frame was bent. I found a guy who sold me a frame all the flinging and a few other parts for $300. The second frame I picked up I have the pick slip and paper work but the reg hasn't been paid since 2014. The first bike with is the bike with good reg and had a solid motor. How do I go about reg for the swap frame having all the paper work...do I have to got to dmv and chp?...I'm kind of stuck now

You might be able to get a reduction in the back fees. Submit a statement of facts declaring the bike hasn't been used ot parked on public highways while it was unregistered. I have done this successfully a couple times. Depends on the clerk you get. |

So how did it end up, Sharkey? Were you able to get the frame sorted out?
