Hehehe

Mine might get interesting. Got at least 8k in store for the Ninja. After that, might be something different showing up to play.

10288 miles on the 250.

also i will play my trump card with work. I cannot take photos of the bikes I ride, but i am required to track miles. I estimate i will have close to 50k miles from work.

Fresh out of its winter slumber, SERENITY is ready for another season.

Put about 4,300 miles in 2015.

I'll jump in!

Started 2016 with 17,924.8 Miles. I only put about 1K miles on the bike last year, since I spent a good chunk of the year working from a different coast, but I'm hoping to get a lot more time on the bike this year.

Bump

Summer up here in the northern hemisphere is almost over, the temps are already starting to cool off and the days are getting shorter. Soon all those dreaded "winterizing" threads will bubble up to the recent posts list, and our poor friends in the northern latitudes will start sitting in their garages making "vroom vroom" noises.

So, how's your riding been this year? Got any big plans happening to end off the season? How about you folks who are looking at spring arrive and eagerly awaiting all the summer adventures you've got?

Bought the bike last summer with 10,200 miles on it. Odometer just went past 19,000 on the commute into work this morning. No big trips planned, just looking forward to some nice fall riding. Maybe a couple overnight camping trips.

Everytime I look at my odo, I think "is that all?"

Same when I look at the other odo.

Takes my brain a second to remember to add the two together. Oohhh, that's better.

Have you ever gotten around to riding that R6 or has it sat since I got to stretch it's legs?

Didn't get pictures of it, but I bought my bike at around 7000-something miles, and so far I'm up to 11,500. Did the valve-check at 8000, and just did an oil change.

So the first winterizing thread of the season has been spotted. Over here in the rainshadow of the Sierra, things have been mild, but that storm last weekend did bring with it lots of rain and up in the higher elevations snow.

Anyone already putting their bikes up? How about anyone just starting to dig out their bikes? Or anyone living in the land of eternal sunshine wondering what "snow" even is?

I am lucky enough to be able to ride year-round here. In the summer, there are days when I ride in the evenings because it's uncomfortably hot in the middle of the day. In the winter there are days when it's cold enough that I avoid riding, or there's snow on the roads, but there's almost always a day or two each week that are nice enough to enjoy a ride. Each season has its own feel, and the differences make it interesting.

Eternal sunshine here. On track to put more miles on the bike in my first year of ownership than she got in her first 10.

Dang didn't write down the mileage on my daughter's bike when we sold it.

Mine just rolled 22,000. Son's has 18,000 which is mostly me keeping it running while he is away in the army. So I'm at almost 11k miles for the year so far.

2016 was average for me. 13,022 miles so far. I don't see myself putting on that many more miles. Sorry, no pics...you have to take my word for it. Since I keep track of my mileage at every single fill up, here's some "proof".

Ended 2015 with 12,803 miles

Just filled up the bike today at 25,823 miles

Daughter's had 12,000 something on it when we sold it in September.

Sons has about 20K on it, but he has moved out now.

My 2001 as of Saturday when I sold it:

21,455

And the cafe project is still sitting in the garage to be finished.

I need to buy something else soon to ride.
