Left control switch question

Will the left controller from a 2001 work okay on a 1993? It just looks to me like they improved the horn button.

Thanks,

Chris

I know some earlier ones didn't have the push-to-cancel function, but it should work.

pause.

they changed the wiring a little in '95. You'll want to find a pre-'95 left side control.

All you have to do is move some pins around, IIRC. You could even buy a generic one on eBay but it would not have the choke lever.

Thanks for the input. Someone on the other 250 forum posted the pin changes for me so if I do end up with a newer version I can re-pin it.
