that i know of there isnt one...
if you take the left faring off you can see the on and off switch for the fuel line, there isnt a reserve options like a lot of other bikes usually have there. you need to keep an eye on the miles/km's that you do, i usually fill up at around 250 Km. that's close enough to empty for me. i don't fully trust the fuel gauge, prefer to fill up early than push the bike to the next petrol station, lol.

The petcock only has an On position and a Prime position. The On position allows fuel to flow only when there is vacuum present. Prime will allow the fuel to flow without vacuum.
Just reset your trip meter and use that to help figure when to refill. |

How many Km (or miles) is average for these tanks. So far I've trusted the gauge but I'm thinking that isn't the greatest idea

Due to the variations in riding style mileage may vary and the number of miles you can obtain before going empty will vary.
OK now that I've got the legal disclaimer out of the way, I refuel when I hit 200-225 miles. Since I usually average about 53 mpg that leaves me a gallon or so in the tank enough margin I can forget for a day or two. The other consideration is time of year and how much you are riding. When riding everyday I wouldn't hesitate to take down to fumes but during the late fall/winter season when the riding is less frequent I prefer to keep the tank topped off and a gas conditioner (Stabal or sea foam) in the tank to prevent condensation and crud formation. Have fun, ride safe.

I find that my guage is overly pessimistic (full only lasts a few miles), but I add a couple gallons when it gets to around 1/4 just to be safe.

My fuel gage, seems to change depending on the orientation of the bike, but as long as I go by the lowest reading on the gage it seems to work ok.
I have only ran out of gas once, but I knew I was low. I thought I had a few more miles left though.
