DFW riders, any interest?

I've tried in the past, with no real success, to get together with other DFW riders. I'm thinking, fall is here and we have a few weekends of decent weather, any interest in a ride somewhere? Not really a twisty, bang the throttle contest to see who can high/lowside the first, more of just a meet and great. Suggestions would be a restaurant in the area, or even maybe ride out to someplace like Irby's Hamburgers in Grandbury or Hard 8 BBQ in Stephenville. Both have some nice back country routes to get there, one runs by Dinosaur Valley State Park if one was so inclined to visit there.

Or, someplace local would be fine too. I know that there's a lot of folks here who live in the DFW area, and I think it'd be nice to get together somewhere to swap stories and that sort of thing.

Hi Frugal! Would you want me to merge these with some of the existing DFW group ride planning threads? Your call, but if they are merged, then any update to the merged thread sends notifications to all of the folks who have posted in any of the threads, so there is more likelihood of thread participation (and ultimately folks on rides). Just let me know...

definately count me in for that.. i have been trying to find new people to meet in the DFW area. I have only one buddy with a ninjette.

Where is this? The wife and I are looking for some new backroads to ride on. We went out this weekend and found a few here and there. It was a great weekend for getting out. This weekend was just a few jaunts down to Venus.
