Funny! It looks like it's a put-on, but as far as I can tell, it's an actual line of ammo from a legitimate company? With a great marketing plan. Am I right, or am I being successfully trolled?

I was about to say, they'd have to be hollow points. The only way to kill zombies is by destroying the brain or removing the head.

I've begun to wonder what the obsession with all things Zombie says about us (as a nation, society, culture). Movies, books, video games.... what makes the Zombie thing so attractive?

I saw a great piece once on zombies throughout history, and the way the lore changes over time to prey on society's greatest fears. In the early 1900s zombie lore revolved around Haitian voodoo. That changed mid century with the cold war and suddenly zombies were corpses reanimated due to radioactivity or the like. In this era, people are afraid of sickness. You can thank the media for that. SARS, bird flu, swine flu, west nile virus, biological weapons... The next big disease is on everyone's mind. Hence the current state of zombie lore - outbreaks and pandemics, man made illness... That's what makes it the best sub-genre. It will always be relevant.

idk if anyone here reads cracked.com, but... they had a funny article recently comparing zombie and vampire crazes of the past couple decades or so to whether a republican or a democrat was in office.

Looks cool but I've been reloading my own version of "zombie killers" for some time now for stockpile.

As a matter of fact I'm using Hornady bullets in them.....

I like the zombie idea much better than mass death apocalypse by disease or war mainly because in the end you will be doing a lot of work to rebuild and you will need a good solid hobby to keep you from going insane...like shooting zombies.

Cool ammo is ok, but that is a lot to carry. I have a few competition grade swords sitting around that will do the small zombie jobs nicely...without using up vital ammo.

I have some.

They are just hollow points with a different color in the center. They are my kill rounds.
