As a Portland resident, I can honestly say I am not surprised by this. This attitude is both what makes Portland special in this context, and annoying in others.

Almost ran into this guy when i was riding around today! He was about 6feet long and taking up the majority of my lane. Escorted him to the other side and snagged the photo.
