Thanks for asking
Saturday was bad .I had a cracked spark plug? so I waisted all day sorting that out . Meanwhile the record I was chasing went from 101 mph to 104mph . Sunday the wind picked up and was mostly a head wind to boot. I was over geared for that wind so I went through in fifth gear at 105.290mph to take the MPS/BF 350-4 record.

Sorry for jacking this thread.
I don't know what happen. It was on the dyno and got 32 + hp the bike was running great . I went home and checked the plugs and finished race preparing the bike . Everything seemed normal. The bike ran fine till I left the starting line then it started misfiring BAD . Idle was normal but under load it would not go. I pulled the tank and when I pulled the plug wire the plug came out with the wire. I spent a couple hours getting the thread out .
I guess I overtightened it . (don't think so ) or from pulling the plug to get the jetting I weakened the thread . either way it was MY fault

Man!! It's ugly. I've never seen a plug come apart quite like that before. Could you unscrew the threaded part out of the engine spark plug hole or did you have to do surgery?

I tried to get a tiny screwdriver down there and hook the ground electrode . That would not work .Just before giving up a fellow racer came up with an extractor . The kind that never work . It worked.
How do you like the burn though ? That is with 118 jets on race gas . I went to 115s and VP MR9 . the plugs came out white after that . On pump gas I had to go down to 110s . Now I have real jacked the thread Sorry.

the ugly plug you pictured looks a "tad" rich to me. I'd step it down one main jet size and be happy unless you are experiencing denotation. seems like you've found the "edge" on the jetting.

yeah, start another thread on plug reading and jetting and I think a lot of discussion will result.

I finally have her together. Just put on the HMF slip-on. One more thing to do, and that's the frame sliders. Can't wait until the Green Bandit is done!

Great pics guys!

I'm really tempted to post a pic of my bike but I was told not to till the project is complete. Sadness!

Maybe I can do a teaser but I'll have to ask. Double sadness!

Wait, that Ducati-style ducktail has TWO sets of turn signals?

I really want one but so far ztrack157 hasn't located one for me with Candy Plasma Blue.

So the Ducati-style ducktail has TWO sets of blinkers?

ztrack157 has been looking for a blue one for me (he imports Indonesian 250 mods and is the official USA distributor for Indonesia's own Sportisi Motorsports).

Good because for a second there I thought that I might have to buy an undertail also. At least I don't have to worry about blocking the undertail turn signals with my plate.

It looks an awful lot like "AutoDrezz's (Joly's)" bike.

And, yeah, ztrak157 is already looking for one for me. He's just gotta find it in Candy Plasma Blue. Thanks!
