Red face Southern California - South Bay

I want to go riding and meet people!
Yeah, I know I probably sound whiny and obnoxious like the neophyte I am.
Anyone in the area want to go on a ride? I'm thinking of riding over to Del Amo Motorsports and buying some boots, because they didn't have any that fit me at Cycle Gear the other day. Also possibly a spine protector. Or we could just cruise/meet someplace & ride.
Pleeeease?

I'm usually free to ride on Sundays and Mondays, as well as some Wednesday afternoons, but I'm flexible.

If you don't mind a bit of a drive, go to Berts Megamall. 15% off almost everything this weekend. I just went there and stocked up.

Shoei RF-1100, Alpinestars gloves, Pitbull rear stand.

Thanks, guys! I'll see if I can make it out to the Megamall, otherwise Del Amo may have to do. A relative in town is keeping me from being away too long, but maybe I can convince him to come with.

don't ride with peps much because I tend to go on my own schedule. But I do enjoy company. I ride almost everyday. Ninja for commuting and Harley/Goldwing on weekends. I'm headed to Andria's Seafood in Ventura on Saturday. I'll ride with anyone interested. I'll start from Castaic go up thru Fillmore, Santa Paula, Ojai, then Ventura and back thru Fillmore and Castaic (about a 290 mi).

I don't race and do the speed limit or +5 at most, I cruise, I enjoy scenery, ride, and life, lol. Anyone is welcome.

The week after, I have a ride from Castaic, Lake Hughes Rd. (very twisty, crappy canyon with lots of rocks on road), breakfast at the Rock Store, then on to Mojave, Lake Isabella, Bakersfield, Castaic, planned for the following weekend (about a 300 mile trip).

I'm not riding Ninja on anything over 100 miles, Harley/Goldwing is more comfy on my old bones.

If anyone wants to do a Nina run, I wouldn't mind going up Castaic, Frazier Park, Mt. Pinos and back to Castaic. I've been wanting to go up there for a while.

It's all fun, I'm always doing something, unless wife snags me... bad wife <spank> lol. Anyone wants to tag along or not, I'm ride'n
!

I do love that road, but I can't tell you how many times I've slid on rocks/gravel that has fallen on the road. Still it is soo beautiful, key is just taking it easy and I've never hit anything I can't handle and I'm not the greatest rider. Sad, I don't like that many flowers on the side of the road though. Too many peps override themselves there. Just enjoy and be responsible.

Would love to hit up canyons soon. Definitely need to get more comfortable though.

Lake Hughes Rd is an awesome run. 30 Miles of nice twisties. Though, I must agree on how much sand/rocks get kicked onto the road. I actually spun out on a turn once due to braking my rear tires loose over sand on the road. Did go in a bit to hot on that turn though. Definitely could have prevented that.

Brand new to this forum. I live in the Long Beach area and am down to take a ride with a fellow ninja owner. My bike recently started being difficult, dirty carb. This coming weekend i'm goin to strip her down and do some routine maintenance. After that I'm up for rides.

Well I know the "bay area" is the San Francisco area. His name has Southern California, south bay area on it. Google marked the "south bay" as LA County area.

Though I am planning to make a trip up to the San Francisco Bay Area...

Interesting, welp, if I have a bike lemme know when you come to SF bay area. We have a north bay, south bay, east bay... West bay is just SF I guess. South Bay is all of San Jose and local cities over there.

When Feb 6 comes around i'll be super busy on both wednesdays and thursdays...
