Attaching lower front faring
So the lower front fairing was off the bike when I took ownership from my brother... cant recall if it was when he got it a few years back (the main faring was gone, of course).
I understand the side fasteners.. however it appears there is to be a bracket of some sort below the radiator that the top center bolt goes in... ??? Can anyone look at my pics and tell me if anything is missing? Or perhaps post images of their own bike of what it should look like? This is the problem when I didn't take the stuff off myself. Thanks all! Pictures are attached, as they are not hosted anywhere on the web. |

There's a tubular steel bracket that hangs under the radiator. Looks like this:

There are 7 places where fasteners hold the lower fairing on. One in the center to the above-mentioned bracket (this screw uses a large washer as it goes through a rubber grommet on the fairing), four screws (two each side) that attached it to tabs on the upper fairing, and two screws (one each side) that attached it to tubular metal brackets attached to the frame below the swingarm bearing caps. You might want to post a message in the "Wanted" section (if you haven't already).
