checking if anyone is interested to do some group buys or something...

hello all,

so, ive been away from the forums for quite a long time, but still keeping an occasional eye at the threads, and still getting the odd request to help send parts from over here, he he..

anyhow, my friend who ive been buying all the koso kits from and some other various mods which ive sent over to the states has asked me to see if we can organize some group buys, since he has compiled quite an array of mods for both the ninja 250 (2009/2012) and the ninja 250/300FI (2012+).

i still have the issue of not having pay pal at the moment, so if it does come down to some group buys ill try and figure out how to do organize the best way for payment.

there are about 70 items so i hope this isnt too overwhelming... im gonna work on putting it all into a spreadsheet with prices etc. and upload a PDF for ppl that want to have an idea of the price. but that might take a little time still before i get that far. in the meantime here are the goodies.

(is there a way to set the size of pictures within the thread? some images are a little big...)

Faring parts:

thats all the CF stuff~

gonna break this down into a couple posts

this is a faring kit, with devil-eye lights.

they also have a version where you keep the stock lights:

If I still had my 250 or a 300, I'd be all over a lot of these parts! I really like the fairing kits and that design of the "pro speed" exhaust.

If the group buy can undercut the price of getting a Sportisi hugger, a Koso adapter bracket, and a SSR clutch cover, I'm totally in!

Is that clutch cover only for the new 250L or does it work with our 250J/250K? I actually want to use it on an F-model but I already know the 250J has the same bolt pattern and similar shape. The 250L and 300A look very different.

I see a lot of KTC stuff, so can you obtain other KTC stuff? I recall seeing a KTC ignition cover in an old thread and I need something similar since all my markings are flaking off and I want to hide it. What about exotic "other stuff" like that single-sided swingarm and matching front wheel kit that Sportisi was once offering? If not, what about just a set of green rims?

by clutch cover you mean the carbon fiber cover that goes over the right side of the engine/clutch area?

i havent had much time to remember the names of everything (since i got the indonesian names, and you are giving me the english names of the items), to avoid confusion maybe put the picture in your post, lol...

i can check if they have that clutch cover for both the new and old (pre 2013, and post 2013) ninjette.

send me a pic of the KTC item that you are hoping to get, and i can see if its still available here.

cheers~

Yep. That's the one.

I was listing what was available to me in the US in hopes that the Indonesian alternatives could undercut them:
Sportisi hugger (was actually looking at the cheaper and better-looking V2 hugger) - USA Sportisi distributor; Charges $175 for the Sportisi V2, IIRC.
Koso adapter board/bracket - Was $20 in one group buy and $25 in another. Certainly don't want to spend $50! There's another GB going on but I'd rather get a good deal on the bezel/shroud/adapter you have available!
SSR clutch cover - I want to cheaply hide some cosmetic damage on a couple engines but $70+ is not cheap! I actually passed up on a $40 one and I'm kicking myself now (still seemed expensive). I'm also interested in finding one for the other side (stator/alternator/crank cover) but no one seems to make that here.

As for what they are called there, OK:
I think the hugger and swingarm cover are called the hugger and "kondom" or something:

I can only assume that the clutch cover is called the "carbon fiber cover that goes over the right side of the engine/clutch area" because that's what you called it. I don't know what to call the cover on the other side if it even exists, but I know that they are collectively called "case covers" here and that the left side is the stator/alternator/crank.
The KTC ignition cover is what you once called the "ignition key cap" (see below).

Thanks! That'd be awesome if they do. Also, do you know if it stands off the engine case or sits flush against it? The SSR one uses standoffs/risers so that there is a gap and so it is more likely to fit the older 250F.

Here's some more info on the single-sided swingarm kit I'm interested in:

I'd also love to get a couple of these (green and dark):

sorry guys, ill try and get a PDF done with all the prices asap.

just changed jobs here temporarily, working on a construction of a friends house and taking care of my own house which is also under construction, and that takes priority...

ill try and compile the list so everyone can have a better idea of what they are looking at paying for the various parts.

peace~
W.
