I've put 13000 miles on the bike in the last 20 months and coming off an FZ6...and still riding it from time to time I think the ONLY thing the 250 lacks is the ability to pass into oncoming lanes safely. Cross winds, expansion joints , long hills all add to the fun of the 250 but, nope...passing into oncoming is the ONLY thing i wont do with this beauty.

Pretty smart posting videos of yourself breaking the law while your Lic plate is prominently displayed. I've heard of people getting arrested thanks to their youtube videos.

Interesting camera rig though...

IDK the bike seemed to float a little after 110 indicated. It just didnt feel as connected to the road in comparison to my FZ at high speeds. Maybe its just me and all in my head.
RacerX do you know if the stock body work generates lift at high speed?? Maybe its my tuck?? Any thoughts??

I don't know about lift but I think it generates a lot of drag.

I tried a lot of windshields and finally ended up with a shield from a Ninja 650. it is a tinted bubble shield .

I pivoted the entire fairing assemble nine degrees. That took the angle of attack of the windshield from fifty degrees to forty one degrees. I then filled all the lines around the front and sides.I tried covering the sides and it slowed down. The same thing happen to another team with a 250 Ninja. I also made covers for my hands.
It went faster with each piece .The tail section made the most difference.

Ya, I can get behind it and make a smooth line from the front of my helmet to ck of the bike.

With the tank I can get my knees together and under my chest .Then tuck my arms inside the fairing to try to smooth the air going down the sides.

The next race is September 24th -25th

I was following a friend home from work today and looked down and I was doing about 80 as well. It really did not feel that fast maybe because I was following him?

I do have a lil slag so gonna have to clean the carbs I believe.
