Teaser/Crappy iPhone pic. Still got clipons, rearset adjusters, and SS brake lines to install. Bike is an '08 250r. My girlyfriend has a sweet DSLR that we will take some better pics with once I am done putting it all together.

Its a basketball koozie holding one of the classic Fatweisers. I'd say the additional weight is well worth it considering it lowers condensation and improves handling characteristics.

Looks like some chopcult type build, a more streamlined pan seat would look good, looks almost like a flat track style bike.

Bike was wrecked by a PO...I bought it with the current gas tank and seat (off a 70-71 CL175).

Ive been tossing around a fiberglass seat pan (with a bum-stop) for a while now. I personally like the look of the Honda seat though and its in great condition.

That's too bad, but the projects coming along great! I love the tank. Good luck and I'll be checking back for new pics. Just an idea, but maybe get a smaller seat and add a rear cowl piece, for example:

Check out that link, an older Honda take a sweet transformation, and that site has a lot of other cafe racer type transformations.

I say keep the seat and add a rear fender, like Z1R-ish

New exhaust. Need to paint the hanger and possibly wrap it? Need to throw my clipons and a new headlight on as well. Need to hide all the wiring/misc crap as well (the idea of this terrifies me...I am an electric putz) Also tossing around the idea of a front fender with the same color scheme/stripe. Fiberglass seat pan is still a maybe...

So, it looks like our current gen will work with a previous gen front tire?

Winter work coming soon. Gotta trim down my new pan, figure out a mounting situation, paint and finish. Also going to hide the wiring and make an electronics tray to tuck everything up under the tank. Gonna have a local shop weld in a battery tray under the hump and gonna stick a smaller battery in there. Its been fun riding for the past season but im looking forward to getting some work done over the colder months. This is a terrible pic but hopefully you can see the direction im going.

Seatpan is looking good, maybe a L.E.D brake/ signal light built right into the hump. Should do a hugger or something keep the rear tire from throwing crud right at the carbs. Looking good though. Oh, don't forget the side number plates.
