This pic is absolutely real; I took it MYSELF back in 2006. The house is in my neighborhood. My daughter and I were driving home from the grocery store when we saw it and did a quadruple-take....I had to run home and grab my camera.

This was actually burned into this lawn; some sort of chemical like bleach or something, I guess. I have no idea what the story was.....I can only assume somebody really ticked someone else right the hell off.

Last futzed with by DRivero; February 22nd, 2010 at 10:06 PM. Reason: to resize the pic

Or douse the rest of the lawn in bleach... or gas and a match if that's not fast enough!

Marc, Belfast, Maine, told Wal-Mart to take a hike ten years ago. It did piss some people off, but in the long run we were able to preserve the character of this pictureque New England coastal town.

I wish Houston would tell Walmart to take a hike. I dislike the store and the people they tend to attract.

You dont, you just ride all over the country while collecting more trinkets. The bike has gotten so massive with the addition of all those "custom parts", that it has its own gravitational pull, so the trinkets just fly at it, no need to get off the bike.

I work part time at a Walmart, in the richest neighborhood, in the city, and I still see plenty of people that belong on peopleofwalmart.com

If you venture into some stores in the poor neighborhoods, than it is just like a circus. I went into one the other day, and this homeless guy hanging around the front door said something to me that sort of sounded like "do you want to buy a phone charger for 10 or 15 dollars?" he was hard to understand though, he might have just been asking for money. I also seen a guy in a jacket with sparkles all over it, and wearing sunglasses.

You know I was having a down right crappy day and then I looked at the peopleofwalmart and suddenly my family seemed pretty darn normal and not so bad.

And the saranwrap kitty made me laugh. One day I was bored and turned the cieling fan on low took a piece of string long enough to reach the floor and tied the cats catnip bird to it. Spent a good 15 minutes laughing till it hurt watching the cat go nuts.
