Which one? The rider made a douche move. Put himself in danger by positioning himself inches from a massive truck while passing.

The truck didn't really pull out "right in front" of him. That was a good 100 - 150ft ahead.

Edit: and the driver shouldn't be turning left to the right lane. He should turn left into the left lane (which he did). Did anyone else notice there was a solid white line between the two lanes?

Hmm. Not how I would've handled it. I would've given him a "Sorry I spooked you, man. I just didn't wanna downshift and potentially get rear ended by someone behind me." Most people are much more willing to see it your way if you're patient with them, or at least he would've been more likely to go back into his truck with a "Hm! Sure showed him!" kind of attitude, which is a better outcome, in my opinion. To be fair, the guy probably shouldn't have gotten out of his truck, but pissing contests help no one.

In fact, one time I was in the left lane, and this guy in an SUV pulls out into the right lane, but he got awful close to me (I think he came out at a bad angle), so I beeped a little on my horn and moved over to the left real quick. When I got to the stoplight, I was right beside him, so I opened my visor and I said "Hey, I didn't wanna come off like a jerk back there. You just scared me a little." He was understanding and seemed like a cool dude

That was a sloppy pass by the rider - he didn't even leave the lane.

The other lane was wide open. Just use that. I might have been ticked too if a cycle chose to pass me that close (in my lane) when the other was wide open.

It's not a highway or an Interstate, so "slower traffic keep right" doesn't apply.

Riding like that is just looking for trouble.

Rider = tool.

I also love how all these morons act all tough pass cars that close (when they had 0 right to do so) and once the car pulls beside them to talk they are all breathless and nervous as hell. Man up or don't act like a jerk in the first place.

I love how he tags "random pig" at the end too.. YOU HATE COPS YOU'RE SUCH A BADASS..

Yeah... Tool.

Stupid, reckless move by the rider. In all likelihood the driver didn't even see the guy from that distance - and even if he did, he left PLENTY of time for the bike to slow down.

Imagin how you would feel if you blasted through traffic feeling like a boss. Then piss some one off and have an altercation. Then feeling so superior in you frame of mind that you post the whole incident on the World Wide Web. Only to have 2000000 people say you are an idiot. Makes me giggle

My point is that the officers are here to protect. No need to call them pigs just because we break the rules, get a ticket, and get upset for it. That's not to say that they're all perfect, but we aren't either.

I don't remember the exact case, but I'm pretty sure he's right. The police are not legally required to protect anyone, apparently, only themselves.

Don't believe everything the media tells you. They speculate and sensationalize.

There certainly have been cases, but not everything is as it appears in dramatic media reports.

I looked at the guy's channel and the top vid was him going 155MPH past what he believes was a cop.

Genius.

Anyway, suppose that was a two lane street that the truck pulled out into. There was plenty of room and his only complaint would be "OMG! You made me slow down a bit! Boooo!" If the truck waited for any bigger of an opportunity he'd obviously be forced to wait nearly forever.
