Tank pad suggestions
I'm curious about tank pads for protection more than looks. I am looking at the basic Proride types and have seen some that are short and some that go right down to the top of the seat's front edge. I'm looking to keep the zipper / jacket snaps from marking up the tank but don't know how large a pad I should consider.
Anyone have any suggestions for brands / shapes that fit well on the '08/'09 250R? Thanks all. |

Here's a thread with quite a few pics of different tankpads people have used.

if you want the protection but don't like the look, try this stuff. i ordered the wrong one for my bike, so be careful. i thought i was ordering one that would work with my tank bag, but i got the piece for the top of the tank only that protects the tank from a tank bag. oopsy. i haven't ordered the right piece, and i should have cause i got a nice scratch from my zipper. i'll probably just get the standard pro grip one that a lot of people seem to use. but this one works great if you order the right one. |
