Ever have days...

...where it is so friggin hot out that you aren't even motivated to change the oil in your bike, because you know you won't ride it in that heat. So it just sits. You start it up a little, putt around on it for a few minutes and park again.

It is so hot down here in Houston, just haven't been wanting to be on the bike.

I never thought I'd ever say that.

Nope, those are days where I grab an extra case of water and get extra ice for the cooler. Then still lose water weight across the day. Riding in meh conditions beats not riding

I was dripping sweat installing a new headlight in my garage yesterday. Can't bring myself to go back in there to start working on an instrument cluster mount.

Supposed to be even hotter this weekend

Riding in "meh" beats not riding- oh, for sure! I hoard my lighter-weight shirts when it's hot. I don't like the feel of the jacket liner on my skin, so I wear the long shirts but I sometimes need to be careful which of them I wear. The lightweight ones breathe well.

Yes. There are days where literally stepping outside in our wonderful Lone Star State will take your breath away it is so hot and then you will start pouring sweat withing half a second from the humidity. On those days I pick and choose my activities.
