I drove past one when in VT this summer and it was amazing. That's as close as I've gotten though.

That'd be cool if it's strong enough to carry a passenger on the bicycle.

That looks awesome for comfy wheelies, like training wheels! lol. In all seriousness though, looks neat and functional.

This is one of my projects to come. Going to have to keep the givi tail box or substitute in a couple saddle bags to carry helmet and MTB gear. So when you see a black ninja 250 tearing up the canyons at full lean angle with a full suspension MTB on the back you'll think oh it that guy

When I saw the title of this, I immediately thought of a friend of mine...

This is how he delivered a bike to a friend in Savannah GA from Worcester MA, on a platform bolted to where the sidecar tub should have been on a Ural 650.

He has since bought a Dnepr and used the Ural as a donnor for some parts. He just has a thing for sidecar rigs haha But he also just bought a Suzuki Tu250x, which was some of my reason for wanting that bike for a while (details in intro lol)

It is Ukrainian I believe, yeah I don't believe they're very popular... lol But apparently they are actually built a lot better than the Ural's or at least the older Ural's from what I've been told. And yup, Boxer engine haha

I agree, I quite like the look of the sidecar, plus the added benefit of 3 wheel drive (on some) makes it quite useful in the snow. But don't expect to go very fast on one, haha

I feel kind of bad, we've completely hijacked this guys thread. Sorry mate!

My bicycle rack has a top box for bicycle helmet, shoes, change of clothes and plenty of room for storage.
The whole setup does not obstruct view of tail/brake light, turn signals and does not add width to overall motorcycle.

Guess what I'm going to build! (for my F800GS) Fantastic utilization!

Fully loaded up for 7 days and 2500 miles on the road with one 24hr mtb race in the middle. I've got about 50,000 miles with that mtb rack and over 80,000 total on the ninja.

Yo dawg, we heard you like to bike. So we put a bike on your bike. That way you can bike to go bike, and bike after you bike. You can even bike with yo bike so it don't have to bike alone. It's all about the bike!

I usually get pretty beat after a good bicycle ride.
That's why I put my bicycle on my scooter, relaxed riding position, not carrying anything on my body, no shifting, no clutch, just twist and go.

Before I started mtbing again I used the ninja to travel to ultra marathon races. 31-50 miles of rugged terrain for 4-9 hours then hop on the ninja for a quick 2-3 hr ride home. We have a joke among ultra runner about the badasses who drive after the race in a car with a clutch due to the potential for leg cramps. They just shake their heads when I hop on the sport bike and go tearing though the canyons

Post running rides always made me hate my aftermarket rear sets.
