Hey all, names Jacob, Just snagged a 2005 ninja 250r for dirt cheap from a buddy! I'm about an hour away from Indianapolis,IN. Have throughly enjoyed this forum in getting it up and running. It sat for about 2 years so I've had my fair share of work to get it moving. Next project is Fork seals and valve adjustment.

Hey Jacob, welcome! I have a 2005 myself. Good luck with the valve adjustment. When I did mine it ran like it had a new engine compared to before the adjustment. Starting and warmup was hugely better.

How much better it'll run after the adjustment depends on how well they've been kept in spec until now. :-) Mine needed it badly.
