Just got a HLD hugger for the 2008+ ninja
Heads up!
I'll get ya pics later and maybe do an install video once its warm enough to go outside! Don't remember seeing them on here before. I got it from Greece via ebay http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...=STRK:MEWNX:IT As you can see it goes over the existing chain guard, it also has 2 holes and a stainless steel L-bracket to secure it on the other side. I can see an instruction book 2 screws, 2 clip in screw sockets, what looks like a piece of padded material with glue on one side, and 2 small pieces of velcro in the bag also. I guess the pad is for the bit of metal that wraps around the swingarm, all will become clear later

It looks like they, e.ride2010, sell the same seat cover/solo seat cowl and hugger as edrivestore (also in Greece). The names are also similar. The other pics all say "Tech Shope" but I can't find that "Shope" anywhere. It looks like e.ride2010 has much better shipping prices to the USA even though the initial price is much higher (at least for the product I'm interested in).
I've wanted to order their products but painting would be way too expensive and they don't offer a pre-painted option. If I have to buy the paints, I'd have to offset the cost by buying and selling more. |

I'm looking into getting one of these. Did you ever get it shipped to you and installed? Pics please

Since it looks like you won't be getting your Shinto hugger anytime soon, I know Skidmarx makes a hugger. Just google it and you'll be able to find places that sell and will ship it to you.

Exactly... that's why I started looking into this one. I've seen the skidmarx hugger already. Don't really care for the look of it. I don't like the arc on the side of the hugger.
I emailed hotbodies to see if they were planning on making hugger for the 250's. This was the response I got from them. Quote:

Yea it would be nice if some companies around here starting making huggers for our bikes. I ordered one through Shinto as well, but not till the beginning of last month and after keeping track of your orders thread I realized that I wasn't going to be getting mine since you hadn't gotten yours yet. So I started looking around at other manufacturers like you.

It really is just the hugger. It does look good and pretty simple. I do like the look of the Shinto version as it covers the swing arm and kinda bulks up the whole appearance. of course that is if you can get one. It seems to me that there is some opportunity for some enterprising person who works in this type of fabrication. Is the market not big enough to make it worth it?

TUTORO chain oiler system, not convinced it works to good so took it of just after that video, will re-mount it at a later stage.
