New engine direct from Kawasaki

Already assembled, I don't think so.

I know you can buy all parts individually, 3000$ for the engine parts and tranny add an other 1000$ if you want the carbs...

hey man, how's it going?? ya end up heading out west? I had got those shims from you if you remember...
regarding the engine did you blow yours? When I blew mine I started looking and a used engine was the best option you can get one for about 500-600 bucks...
I was lucky enough to get it warrantied though

Yeah. I'm in BC. Been here since last autumn. It's beautiful here as was the trip on the Trans-Canada.

I ended up having the shims sent to me because I needed them for a valve adjustment. Which is where I ****ed up the engine. I either dropped something inside or set the chain timing wrong. Last I started it up, there was a loud knocking noise when cranking. I'm having a hard time finding an engine so I'm thinking of opening it up and doing a rebuild.

I did the same thing...valve adjustment gone wrong and same symptoms...

engines are cheap. fixing your mistake is usually cheaper.
