Tachometer Jumps at 10k?
Hey guys...i just recently changed my front sprocket to a 15t and noticed that my tachometer is acting a little funky. It seems that when i rev up to 10k it hangs up for a second then jumps to 11k.
Also, for what it's worth, i was in the front end that day too and removed my 12v accessory port (rusted and was blowing fuses). Is it possible that I hit a wire that goes to the tach. and loosened it? |

ok..i'll try on friday when i put the new 12v accessory thing in.
Anything in particular to look for? |

It may or may not be associated with your CDI but read this thread and see if you have the same problems.
